Where were you…

…when the Dow first crossed 10,000? I was on Spring Break ice climbing in Durango, and then climbing Engineer mountain and sleeping in an ice cave. When we finished, after sleeping for a day, we drank whiskey with the cowboys at a bar where the piano player sang “House of the Rising Sun”.

Raining here in LA – good day for some coffee and reading “The Failure of Risk Management”…any other good reads/links I’m missing lately?

I'm sure you've seen Bill Luby has ranked your site 28th out of 40 of his favourite blogs. Nice.

Working at a big Hf in LA at the time. Everybody was getting rich, extracting money from trading was a bit easier than today, there was plenty of IPO treats for us,….it was a good time.

Working at a Hf these days is akin to working at a bank. I feel lucky I got to experience some of the virgin times in Hf land. Wow, what a ride.
