Can't wait for the new book! While I'm waiting, I need something else to read. I just got done with Covel's updated trend following book. Do you have any suggestions for other trend following books along the same lines as Covel that have a focus on the individual investor? Thanks!!

Congrats, but maybe in the pic you should put your thumb over the part that says “and avoid bear markets”.

  7. WorldBeta says:

why? the tactical model avoided the bear markets of 08….

  8. j'adoube says:

Well, that's true, yes, but the cover reads “How to Invest Like the Top Endowments and Avoid Bear Markets”.

2008 was the year that the top endowments succumbed to the bear market, with losses exceeding 30% for some. And they do not use your tactical model. If they did, they would have been a lot better off.

  9. Matt says:

Mr Faber, if you've turned enough people onto your tactical model, wouldn't it make sense to front the model with futures?
